Chorus Tour 2023 - Nashville*

*Tour is for Vocal Ensemble & Treble Choir members only.

What is a Choir Tour?!

A Choir tour is an educational opportunity for students to travel to and learn about a different state or city, perform at a nationally recognized choral festival, and create long lasting memories, both social and musical. Students are encouraged to attend but are not required.

When: 4 days, 3 nights, Thursday, April 27, 2023 - Sunday, April 30, 2023

**Exact departure and arrival times are not set at this time. Tentatively, we will leave ADHS via charter bus in the morning on Thursday, April 27 and arrive back in the late afternoon/early evening on Sunday, April 30.

Where: Nashville, Tennessee

Cost: $825* per student/chaperone, payment schedule below.

Cost includes the following:

  • Hotel for 3 nights:

    • Students will be 4 to a room with two double or queen sized bed, chaperones will be 2 to a room unless they would like to pay extra for a single room

    • Exact hotel has not been determined at this time however it will be comparable to a HolidayInn Express and will not have exterior room access.

  • Charter Bus Transportation

    • Transportation from ADHS to Nashville and back as well as to and from all activities while in Nashville.

  • Activities:

    • Participation in WorldStrides National Choral Festival

      • Students perform for a judge or adjudicator, receive written and recorded comments, as well as a clinic with the judge and a recording of their performance

      • Festival awards ceremony, dinner & line-dancing with other participating schools from around the country

    • Admission/Tickets to the following:

      • Country Music Hall of Fame

      • Museum of African American Music

      • Historic RCA Studio B Tour

      • Haunted Ghost Tour of Nashville

      • Nashville Symphony Concert

    • All dinners & breakfasts are included

      • Breakfasts: Hotel continental breakfast

      • Dinners

        • Awards ceremony dinner: Wildhorse Saloon or Nashville Palace

        • Hard Rock Cafe

        • TBD

      • Lunches are not included and students will need to bring additional money for 4 lunches.

Payment Schedule:

Total Cost: $825* per student/chaperone

October 17: Payment 1 ($225) & Commitment Form Due

Commitment Form will be sent home with students tomorrow

December 15: Payment 2 ($150) Due

January 26: Payment 3 ($225) Due

March 3: Final Payment ($225)* Due

*The final payment amount may be reduced. $825 is the maximum the trip will cost per student and is calculated on 30 students and 3 chaperones participating. If more than 30 students commit to the tour this cost may be reduced as the cost of items such as the bus rental will be divided by more participants and therefore cost less per person. I will communicate with parents and students if the final payment amount is reduced when that is finalized, probably in early Spring.

Tour Payment Options:

  • Checks: Made out to Athens Drive Chorus Boosters and turned in to Mrs. Santa Croce with student name written on memo line

  • Cash: In an envelope with students name, and class period on it, turned into Mrs. Santa Croce

  • Paypal: Click here and then email Mrs. Santa Croce ( to let her know that you submitted your payment

  • Student Chorus Account: If a student has money in their chorus account they may use it, including any money earned through fundraisers. Please send Mrs. Santa Croce an email ( if this is the payment option you want to utilize or if you need to know how much money is in a student’s account.

  • Scholarships: If a student would like to go on tour but needs help financially please fill out the following form and turn it in with the commitment form.
